I guess this is my annual warning about being active outside during extreme heat waves. Most of us must be very careful during the summer. A good time could turn into a trip to the ER very quickly. It happened to me 2 years ago and I don't want it to happen to anyone else.
So just be careful,
Tom

A timely warning! Also, folks should pay attention to ozone alerts, because increased air pollution can be more dangerous than the heat itself.

Thanks, Tom.

Actually, winter is worse for me. That cold air is more than I can handle. Summer hot and humid is OK. Everyone just neeRAB to know what impacts them the most!

I'm a freak. So far my two most severe exacerbations have both been in June, two of the last three years, and the intervening year I had a break from asthma symptoms due to pregnancy. I can't figure out what the heck is messing with my lungs in June.

But summer humidity is challenging for me, as is extreme cold. Great reason for my spouse to to the lawn-mowing. ;)
