I recently dropped my G1 and the trackball for reason made everything constantly scroll down. I called t-mobile to have it replaced under my warranty only to find-out that I had no warranty. I talked crap for awhile and got transferred to retention. They gave in pretty quick and offered me a myTouch or a Cliq for 150. Long story short I am getting 2 Cliq's in a day or 2 and the guy also let a big story slip. REMEMBER IF THIS COME TRUE YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST. He told me AT&T contract is almost up with Apple and they were going to Verizon but they felt T-mobile would be a better fit. He pretty much confirmed(still a rumor far as I am concerned)the 4G iphone will be released on T-mobile this July 4th.

btw, i dont care if it comes or not i will not be getting it, but this is HUGE for t-mobile, this coupled with the Nexus, X10, N900, Moto Droid tablet and the HD2 t-mobile will have by far the best phone selection and the fastest network when they release the 21mb speed.

i agree that t-mobile is the best, i've had them for a very long time, ever since they were voicestream back in like 1999 or something.

and if they do get the iphone... that bitch better be 199 contract or no contract. we're all sick of paying 500+ for phones lol

Pretty interesting. Im a little confused though as to how the iphone 4G could be released on t-mobile since t-mobile doesnt have 4G yet. Either way im sticking with android. Just got my nexus one.

Thanks for clearing that up BUT, they will have the 21mb network up by then and they supposed to have LTE/WIMAX/4G by the first part of the following year.

T-Mobile UK have been offering the iPhone to high-paying customers as a retention tool for about 6 months now. And since T-Mobile UK and Orange are in the process of merging, it's a pretty safe assumption that T-Mob will be offering the iPhone in the very near future since Orange already offer the handset.
