wow I'm amazed you know how I would feel about having a conversation with someone, that is amazing!!!!!!

I don't give a fuck about "presence" or any of that. If a soldier is trained for a duty and fit to perform that duty, they should be allowed to. Period.

ok, you're trolling, right?

i mean, NO ONE likes gingers. but seriously....they're people too....with no souls.

Holy fucking retard troll thread. I didn't know there were people this retarded on this forum.

As for the original topic, good shit, about time.

It's so tough to find out the meaning of a word nowadays, isn't it?

fortunately, in the military you would be well aware of who the best shot is as well as who has done the best in training, so your point is moot.

It's not even combat duties...how living in combat conditions....they segregate men and women....can you segregate gays and straights?

and I am sure you know that among all of the strangers you've bumped into which one of them is an explosive expert or can translate mandarin chinese

i don't care about anyones feelings, to be honest with you. there is a right and a wrong way to conduct business, and refusing to allow potentially useful people to serve because of who they fuck is wrong.

This isn't about what people "should" be. It's about what people are, and what is best for the military

Doesn't matter. Explain to me how someones sexual preference matters when you are being shot at?

in the broader scheme of things, like associating with people you don't want to associate, it doesn't.

you can come into the military as a racist, and be racist throughout your term of service, but you are going to be taking orders from a lot of black dudes and you WILL follow them, or else. no reason why it should be any different with gays.
