i couldn't seem to find a thread about this movie. now it wouldn't normally appeal to me...only they had the uncle of the girl the movie's about on Richard and Judy. and it's always interesting when you know some background about a movie that's based on a real person. and for that i was interested in watching it. haven't yet though.

what does everyone else on here think?
 
I can't really imagine Keira Knightley in a serious type of role like that, as I have never seen her in any films like that so I am a tad apprehensive - but i'll reserve judgement for now.

I read an article on it in a magazne and they said it was very loosely based on facts.
 
it looks awfully rough and ready. not my kind of movie at all. but i like keira knightly, so it would be interesting to see her in something a little different. also, like i said in my previous post, hearing her uncle saying what a lovely person she was (before the drugs and bounty hunter stuff), it made me connect more with the character.

it was also interesting to hear that she was quite involved in the making of the film and liked the end product...altho i believe she's died now just short of the movie going on screen.
 
Really? I didn't know that.

I like Keira Knightley too - she's a great actress.

I think this will be a hit for her - as everything she's in seems to be!!

I just hope she can play the role, as i'm just used to seeing her in 'nice' roles if you know what I mean?!
 
Check out Pure, and The Jacket. It looks like Domino is more 'fun serious' than Serious SERIOUS. I mean the tag line enRAB with 'Sort of' when saying it's based on...

It's a Tony Scott film, Man on Fire was excellent so looking forwarRAB to Domino since it's filmed in the same visual style more or less, which is wonderful.
 
To be honest it can't be that good.

Blockbuster say it's out to rent on november 7th and it's still on at my local uci!!!!
 
I think Blockbuster have made a mistake, or you've read it wrong!

I really enjoyed the film - I'd like to find out more about the true story now.

I was shocked to see Keira naked though! Didn't see that coming!!
