it is a fairly easy job to do. you raise them one at a time. unbolt the u-bolts holding the differential. unbolt the spring shackles, and take them out.reverse the procedure to install new ones. you should always remove the shackles first and install them last to make the job easier. and always make sure that all bolts are torqued properly to prevent accidents later on. there are no special tolls needed to do the job, and always remember the basic safety procedures when working on any vehicle. jackstands are a must on this job
