my dogs is 2yrs old .. hes a chipoo .. (chihuahua poodle).. just recently about 2 days ago he started acting a lil funny.. not hyper as usual and just seems to lay around.. today we saw that his rear legs are getting weaker .. when he tries to walk he goes to the side or just trips over his rear legs.. i know arthritis is common in older dogs but can it also happen in younger dogs.. taking him to the vet tomorrow but I'm concerned now and want to know what could be some possibilities.. please help..
would the disc injury be caused by a traumatic hit or can it just happen by running too fast or something. its weird.. because he walks fine sometimes then he'll just lose balance and lay. i read inner ear infection can also cause loss of balance.. i hope its that rather than something permanent.
