Dogs health question?

I took my dog for a walk earlier and he had what seemed to be a fit, he was walking funny then fell on the floor kicking his legs, after a couple of seconds he was alright again and was back to himself. He seemed to be confused so i comforted him. When we got home I gave him some water and a love. He's a border collie and is quite old. Is there anything else I should do? I read on one website that maybe rescue remedy may help calm him. I believe this isn't the first time this has happened.

Just keep an eye on him. It is worth making a note of it and i would advice getting him check out by your vet just in case it wasn't a fit and is something else. We have a dog that has fits now and again but as they don't happen very often and don't last long the vet advice not to put him on medication but just write any down and if they start happening more often and last longer then he will need tablets. He has lived with them for about 5 years with not cahnge.
