I was just wondering, because I am about to get a siberian husky... If you teach a dog that every time you say sit, they get a treat, and eventually they sit on command, do you ever have to give the dog a treat when he sits, or does the dog eventually stop doing the trick after he realises youre not giving him treats anymore.
Also, if it is the case that the dog will stop doing basic things like sitting when you dont have a treat, how do you teach the dog to carry on sitting when you dont give them a reward
