Dog whining after given favorite rawhide?

Whenever I give my 2 yr old shiba inu her favorite rawhide, she'll start to pace around and start whining for a few seconds. She'll then lay down and start chewing the rawhide. She'll never do this with her other treats or hide. She's perfectly healthy and she only gets her favorite rawhide about once a week. Anybody elses dog do this and do you know why?
 
the rawhide may be to hard or tough and might be hurting her teeth.........but im not sure
 
Not sure why she's doing that, excitement possibly.

But I would stop giving her rawhides and find better treat. Bully sticks are good chew treat.

The problem with rawhide is it isn't digestable. Rawhides cause many surgery requiring blockages every year. They also do nothing for dental health as they leave a nasty film on the teeth. Many rawhides are also processed with some pretty nasty chemicals as well.
