ok my sis, my mom and I are teaching my dog to come. I know how to train him the command and he comes to me 80% of the time. Don't worry he never gets off leash unless he is in a fenced in area. Well i showed my mom how to teach him so he will listen to her more. She does it all wrong.The dog will be on the other side of the yard and she will say sit. I tell her to tell him to come because he already knows sit. She says he needs to learn to sit before he comes to you! I keep telling her you should teach the dog to sit after he comes to you. Who is right? every time i try to have her help me it turns into a fight. I am not asking this question so i can rub it in my moms face. I am asking it so i know that i am doing it the right way. And if i am doing it right then how can i show her the proper way with out having a argument!
