I just watched this film after being told it was a decent film... But it was probably one of the worst films I have ever seen, everything in the film was 100% crap. The 'acting', the 'plot', the 'script', everything! if I ever to watch a film of this standard again I think I will be forced to commit suicide. Anyone else have any comments on this film?

I thought it was a brill film!!!! its been a while since there was such a funny and gore fested british film that was good!!!!!!
To be honest its like most films you will either love it or hate it!!
 
I don't know what film you were watching then!!! The plot was great, the acting good enough for the plot and the gore was brilliant!! It's all personal preference though. Rent Bambi next time!!!
 
lol - how can you think that film was great? The money for this film would have been better spent on assasinating everyone involved...

The film just had nothing about it at all. I found it quite amusing when the guy says he has 48 rounRAB left, and then manages to fire off well over 200 more... Elementary errors like this all the way through the film left me pulling my hair out. Nice explosion at the end tho, not sure that the gas leak in a room with windows smashed in would have caused an explosion comparable to that of a small nuclear explosion.. but hey, if it means ending such an awful film... Thank god!
 
it was enjoyable-enough cheesy-horror, and i'm not a horror flick fan.

i'd opt for this over the likes of johnny english any time too.
 
Since when has a horror film required oscar winnig acting anyway? Dog soldiers is a film where the acting is more of a plot device, the plot itself and the action is the focus of the film. Most good horror films, by naturem stretch the boundaries!! That's why they are called horror and supernatural fims!!
 
It wasnt supposed to be a serious horror film!!!!!
that was the thing about it!! it was a comedy horror have you not seen any of the trailers for it??? taking the piss of the arm adverts that have been around for a while!!!
And really i dont see where you think any of htem were crap actors!!!!! there were a couple of ready known stars in it!!
 
"There is no spoon" - :D total p*ss take from start to finish; it's played in the same vein as Evil Dead II - anyway - any film with the son of Dr Who in it must be good :D
 
Well im just glad this country didnt make Resident Evil!!!!! to me that has to be THE worst film ever!!!!!!
hardly anyone in it can act to save their lives especially Milla Jovovich!!!! it really had nothing to do with Resident Evil!! they just knew if they gave it that name it would get good viewings! the creators of this film should be shot at dawn!!! :p

Now Dog Soldiers was just a brilliant film, a complete piss take of horror films, with some brill actors and a great story!!! really i dont know what film you were watching to be able to say there wasnt a story cause it was obvious what the story was!!!
 
Sorry but you just didn't 'get it'

It's also a bit worrying that you feel that it makes you wan't to "Commit Suidice", "Assisinate the cast" & LOL "Ashamed to be British"

If you are going to have an opinion, why not make it an extreme, if not exagerated one just to hammer it home to people who have very bland opinions of everything in life?? Like YOU! :cool:
 
I've never heard this film as being described a horror film before, it was always advertised as a 'black comedy', which it was! I thought it was a great film really enjoyed it.

The scene where Mr Pertwee was getting his intestines glued back together whilst getting pissed - Classic!
 
I was told by my nephew to watch this as it scared the hell out of him - and he sent me the DVD.

I was all set, wine, popcorn, hubbies hand to hold, cushion to hide behind - and it was rubbish. I laughed all the way through it :D
