mainsteam Christianity? Although Christians claim that the tomb and family names are coincidental the scientific probability of it not being the historical Jesus is astromomical, currently over 30,000:1.
The only evidence as to the resurection of Jesus are some of the gospels, but these were written by people who never knew Jesus & long after he was dead. The Gospels demonstrably contradict each other and themselves and are full of errors. Mark the oldest Gospel, in its original text mentions no resurection. The Ebionites, the religious group formed by Jesus's family and the other Apostles was the real Christianity. They claimed no divinity, virginal birth, resurection or miracles for Jesus but saw him as a Jewish prophet. Mainstream Christianity appears to have been an outgrowth of Paul of Tarsus's attempt to turn Jesus into a Mystery cult. Paul won, the Ebionites were condemed as heretics, and the Jesus mystery cult became all powerful even though it is based on lies and deception, not Jesus's intentions
