For example, this girl at my lunch table was complaining about how many things she had to do this summer such as volunteer at a soup kitchen, look at colleges, and try to look for a job. Another girl was complaining about the large amount of homework she had in her AP class.
Am I the only one who finds this annoying? You don't HAVE to volunteer at a soup kitchen or look at colleges. You also don't HAVE to be in an AP class. I could see if they said something like, "I piled so much on my plate this summer! I hope I can do it!" or "My AP class is so much work, but I knew that when I signed up!" Does anyone else agree? What are your thoughts? Thanks for your opinions
