Does Zune and Windows Media Player use the same source to import CD album info when

ripping a CD? I am ripping tons of my older CDs for easy access to my music files using windows media player. Some of the older CDs won't import CD Album info from the internet because they CD's weren't popular or just aren't on the server. Would it be beneficial to rip these CDs using zune or are the sources of information the same (since both are microsoft programs).
