...the road? i have just bought this phone in the last week, upgrading for Samsung Instinct. I may have found a deadspot in the phone's features:
1. my old instinct stayed connrcted to the sprint data server regarless of app and GPS location. I find that you need to connect to a wireless network to use most all of the online apps, including Google Maps. is this wrong? or am i just catching dead spots in GPS service to disconnects in the middle of a route?
the phone calculated a 20 mile route from my house, which i knew mostly how to get from, but after about 8 miles. it says, connection to server was lost???? which means... i COULD BE.... not good?!
2. if this is true, it has proven and may get you lost during your route, which nixes the "G" in GPS?
is this phone in that much of a need of an internet connection to survive??
can anyone help me????
