Does your E61 voice dialing work? I've yet to get a single thing to dial...

I don't have that unique of an accent either, its fairly commonplace...

For the life of me, the phone will simply not recognize a single command I try, am i missing something?

I press the key, "Speak now" pops up, and it just says it cant find anything im saying...
 
What commands? Just say the name of the person on the contacts and it will call them.

so. If you have someone called Joe Sixpack in your contacts, press the button, wait for speak now and then say "Joe Sixpack".

Works a treat for me.
 
It may have something to do with your language pack. My N73 would recognize almost all the names in my contacts with a Euro firmware, but has a much harder time with a lot of the names on an Asian firmware.

Open one of your contacts and hit "Play voice tag" to see what it expects you to sound like. Maybe none of the names match?
 
hmmm, when i open a contact i dont see that as an option.... via the left context menu. I also don't see if just from the main contacts screen...

Am i missing something?
 
well i'll be a monkeys uncle...

i went into tools, voice command and into the settings. I told it to reset the voice adapts and sure enough, works great now.... WTF

Anyway, thanks for the help guys!
