Does your cat run to greet you when you come home?

Actually, this is typical cat behavior. My cat does this too. Cats express pleasure at the return of their human, but when the human leaves they do not acknowledge the parting or say goodbye. It's always lovely to come home to your cat saying hello.
 
I know it's not typical cat behavior, but mine does! It's so cute. He runs up to me, meows at me, and starts doing little cat circles around my legs.
Just wondering if your cat does this too?
 
yeah my cats do it to... tho they go a step farther and follow me wen i go out. its so cute and people in the street comment on it wen they ain't with me lol... and occasionally other cats join them and i have 6 or 7 cats following me down the road lol... funny
 
Yes, it is very normal, I actually only know one cat who doesn't! My cat knows when i get off the bus...... at 3:00 sharp he is ALWAYS waiting at my bus stop (or nearby chasing an animal).... and he knows what days im at school, at church, and other things. He knows when i get up in the morning, and rubs against my legs as i get on the bus. My other cat does this half the time, but still does it (she used to do it daily but shes getting old). THe only thing that throws him off is summer break. He's got like a kitten calender in his head! *LOL* Cats are just simply adorable, they do things like this. And they know who they don't like too. Don't feel your cat is weird, he sounds extremly normal (and cute) to me!
 
I have eight cats, only two run up to you. My kittens stand in the window when I get home. My dog is extra annoying about greeting me though, she runs up and gets my leg all wet.
 
My cat does this all the time. I guess she really misses me those 6 hours when im at school. Sometimes she'll even try to jump on me and such. And in the morning too, whenever I show some kind of movement, Cuddles (my cat) will come and lick my face and purr really loudly for attention. It's extremely cute!
