Does windows media player ever come with songs, or do you have to download them

I've never known a media player to come with songs already on them, but this is a dispute with someone.

it only looks for songs that are on you computer and adds them to your library so you can play them. Some computers comes with a few songs on it to test speakers and and stuff. So no it does not.

Sample music. For stuff you want, obviously you have to get that yourslef - whether by shopping online or "ripping" from CD's.

Yes it does come with Music and in the new windows media player version 10 it comes with Music and Videos. so yes it does come with songs.
