does vocabulary that an emcee uses coun't for skills?

i read a blog on e-opinion claiming tupac is overrated cause he uses simply vocabulary that a 4th grader can understand and therefore claiming that cannibus,jedi mind tricks and rass kass are far better than him,i personally think vocabulary proves you are fluent in english not a good MC.IF vocabulary counts tell me why
