Like say i switch from the phone I have now to my brothers env touch (he doesnt use it anymore he has new phone). Say i switched it by calling the verizon programming number on the phone to activate that phone. Will it recognize its a phone that verizon now charges a data plan for if you were to buy it at the store? Or because its a phone i already own will they not charge you the data package? LIke wouldnt they only charge you for the "required data package" if you were to go to the store and get an update?
Does verizon only charge the data plan if you buy a new phone from them?
