I had Verizon back in 1999-2001 and they were o.k., but their nights and weekends started at 9:01pm and ended at like 5:59am -- way too late to be useful for me. So I switched to Sprint and got free nights and weekends 7p-6:59a. I am happy with Sprint and am only looking at Verizon again because I was satisfied with them when I used them 10 years ago...but as far as I can tell they still have their free nights 9:01p-5:59am?? No progress in over 10 years?
I apologize for my wording -- the times I listed for Sprint also only apply to weekdays. Weekends are free the entire day/night.
I was really hoping Verizon had improved their offering. I have some friends that use Verizon, but most of the people I am calling in that 7-9pm window are land line phones so that would not help me with Verizon's plan. I guess until they scrap that nonsense, I'll be a Sprint customer.
