Does Verizon allow cancellation of a plan after a month using it?

I activated my account with Verizon a month ago and signed up for an unlimited texting plan. But then later I considered it again and thought that I didn't need it as much and it's a waste of my money. Does Verizon allow cancellation of the plan? I mean, I'm not cancelling the 2-yr-contract early, it's just the plan...Thank you for answering :)
 
You are free to contact support at any time and change the plan you want to be on, to any other current plan. Just take note the plan you are on is no longer offered and you can at no point switch back if you get off it.
