Does using Sony Ericsson PC Suite for texting cost extra?

I got my new phone and I downloaded this Sony Ericsson Program called Sony Ericsson PC Suite and it's supposed to help when connecting my phone to the computer. I was wondering if anybody knew about it and can tell me if they put more charges on my phone bill for connecting my phone to my computer then using the PC Suite to text?
My phone is just a number pad and it's difficult to text and with the suite I can use my computer keyboard
 
Why don't you simply text using the phone? PC Suite is mainly for transferring data (music, photos etc.) from your computer to your cell phone
