A friends recently upgraded his iPhone to the new 3Gs version, and has given the old one to me. It is currently on an o2 pay monthly contract, and on the website they advertise unlocking the phone for free. I assume that because it is the o2 website, everything will be fine.. But if i do this and then use my own Orange sim card in it, will i still be able to use all the internet and everything the same?
