I am considering getting a TV tuner to run with Windows Media Center on my laptop (Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit). The TV cable is currently from the wall, to the digital cable box, to the TV. I am confused about whether I only need to connect the cable to the TV tuner once for the initial set-up, or does it have to always be plugged in whenever I want to watch TV on my laptop?
Does TV cable have to be always plugged in into TV tuner?
