long ago there was a war between the demons and the human world. But the humans created a celestic device that incorperates demon spirits in machines and harnests their energy.

3 demons survive the war, the rest are turned into machines used to bulk the human military. but the remainers decide to take their world back, and challenge the human race to all out war.

The demons can see the spirits of their old friends through the manufactured machines, and are forced to rip them apart in battle.
 
I'd hate to be "one of those people", but part of it reminded me about Lord of the Rings. With the long ago war between demons and human...the device that incorporates demon spirits, etc.

But...if it is well written...it could be an OK story.
