When I was talking to my boyfriend today on the phone, he gets on my case because he feels that I don't ever spend my money on him. Every once in a while, he complains about how much he makes at his job and struggles financially every other while. What makes me upset is that he doesnt realize the fact that I try to step in an help, but he feels uncomfortable or less of a man if he accepts. He never sees the good that I try to do for him an makes me feel like I don't have his back, which I always tried to do. He also gets offended every time me or someone else gives him advice on his financial stability. He also tells me how I should spend my money and that I should also take him places and pay. In my opninion, he's at the age where he should be financially stable and should get himself together. Even though he's trying to attend college, there's other issues that shows him as a "loser" to others. Im not shallow or a gold digger type of woman, but I don't want to feel that I'm taking care f him. We don't do that much together because he always struggling with his money from bills and other excuses he may have.
So is this showing that he's trying to use me, or it's something else?
