fish around? Alright. Live plants that will cover a good portion of the tank
small - medium pieces of driftwood
2 20 gallon filters for each filter slot on the sides of tank
heater (of course)
airstone with a 30 gallon air pump on one side and a 20 gallon on other side. ( or should i do 1 big 40-60 gallon pump)

gravel/substrate
background
digital thermometer
net
scrubbing magnet
ph testing kit ( along with anmonia, nitrate. ect)

NOTE : WHATEVER IS NOT HERE I HAVE TRUST ME!

FISH :: 2 Male platys, 6 female platys, 6 neon tetras, 2 cory cats, 4 guppies, 4 cherry barbs ( wasnt sure yes/no) , 2 dwarf gourami (1 or 2?) 1 male swordtail, 3 female swordtails. Tell me if this seems pretty good.

I have 8 years of fish care experience just want a second opinion..also can i add tiger barbs? didnt know cause sometimes they get agressive! thanks!!!
i also know about the fry and thats why i was gonna add a reasonable amount of plants because of that..i like keeping it natural and not removing the smaller fish cause then i overpopulate my other tank..i am aware of diseases and i know how to effectively quarentine and take care of them so thank you.
To me plecos seem to cause more dirtyness than they clean so no pleco..even if i do itll be a small bristlenose

you should get a big pleco (sucker fish) to keep you tank algae free - this way your fish tank will look good all the time! remember don't overfeed the fish! every other day is best!

I too have alot of fish experience. I wouldn't put to much live plants in there because, when you feed some of the food won't go to the fish and will cause bacteria to grow. Remeber the fish food is protein. You will want to keep the same size air pumps on both sides and add a bubble bar that has suction cups on it for maxium oxygen. Tiger barbs, for me, are a no,no. They are nice and everything, but aggressive. Get a plecosamus(spelling) that will do more bottom cleaning than any other fish. They are also entertaining and hang on the side of the glass. I am a liitle leary of the fish that you have because, they are very susestible to a parasite called ICH and will contaminate the whole tank. First signs are white spots of their fins and lathargic swimming. You have a collection of live bearers and when the mother gives birth, they will hide in the weeds. Both the Mom and Pop and other fish will eat them, so catch them an put them in a little cage that fits on the inside of the tank.
