Does this mean what I think it means?

As some of you guys know, I hate my phone (Blackberry Curve 8330) and I want an LG Voyager. Well, today, while looking at my upgrade discounts (MyVerizon), I found the quote above. I don't have a "calling plan" but I have the Blackberry data plan, Which, in my case, is $55.99/month. So, does that mean the same thing? Like, even though it says calling plan, does it also mean Blackberry Data? I mean, shouldn't it? Because it is still $55.99 per month that they are getting from me...

And notice "At it's promotional price", yay, lol. Please Help

You still have to have some kind of plan through Verizon, with the data plan tacked on.

I can't really answer the rest. Best bet would be to go into a Verizon Store and ask.

What don't you like about your Curve. I currently am using the Storm, but also was given the opertunity to try out the 8330. Besides the keys being a bit to together for me, I think it's a pretty nice phone.

I have a Voyager, and have had one since they first came out...and dumped it for the Storm. It's not that it's not a nice phone. It's just that the blackberry has so many more option's and capabilities, that it's was just natural for me to once again go back to the crackberry.

I am paitently waiting for the new 9630 to come out, and will dump both the storm and the curve for it.

But, to get back to your question....I would think so, but to make sure just go to your local retailer or call Verizon and find out.

I'm fairly certain you're not eligible...it's only valid for Voice Plans of $49.99 or higher, I believe.

Do this: go ahead and try to do an online upgrade. If you're eligible for the promotional price, when it lists the devices and prices, if the price is retail...then you're not eligible...if the price is promotional...you're eligible...you won't need to actually complete the upgrade online...
