We can never be completely sure of why the Holocaust began, but we think it is to do with the following points. Anti-semitism is still living today.

Hitler won the “Iron Cross”, first class in World War I. When they were defeatd, Hitler was left devastated, he decided to blame the Fifth Columnists, or what he called, "a gang of despicable and depraved criminals!" for Germany´s capitulation, which included Jews.

World War I left the allies defeat, and a lot of Jew’s were able to seize the economy of German businesses and enterprises. This meant a very tense hostility, between the Jew’s and the Nazi’s

After the First World War, Germany and England set a peace agreement. Germany couldn’t afford to pay its country. As more got unemployed for Germany to pay to recover, there were more rises in day-to-day uses, like food. People needed someone to blame for this, and Hitler falsely accused the Jew’s.

The Nazi’s believed that all inferior races should be murdered therefore the Nazi’s thought of uncontrollable genocide ideas.
