well i wanna know if ill get somewhere with this....so basically its 2 years before world war I in france , a vineyard where three families are sharing a house. there are many personlities struggles and every aspect of family life the good and the bad. but across then theres a mill with a widow and her son who she fully depends on and when they move in the 7 girls in the mansion have feelings for him while the boys of the house have feelings for the girls. they also discover the new neighbour is a homosexual but they all want thim. after a year some leave to city and have their own stories ect ect and then the war starts and the farm gets destroyed while the boys are turned into soldiers. tearing apart lovers and also the neibour leaving the family in charge of the mother. its just a LARGE novel about ALL life in one farm slash city. its tragic in the end with the war and all but still a love story. and yea
