The days and times teenage bobby soxer's swooned and fainted over crooners like Frank Sinatra ( who was so skinny he could not be seen standing behind the microphone stand) They were like zombies and kept that up until the next idol came along. I think the answer is that we are all, young and old, looking for a champion, a hero to come and rescue us from ourselfs. The real problem is that our leaders have us taking on the cares and problems of the whole world and are trying to live high and above the worlds poverty and squalor at the same time. Where has the logic the sanity and common sense gone of our grown-ups.
