Does this literary analysis paragraph for The Masque of the Red Death make sense?

“The Masque of the Red Death” is an allegory for human life because each room described in the tale portrays a different stage of human life by means of their position. For example, the first room of all the suites is positioned “at the eastern extremity,” a direction commonly associated with beginnings because the sun rises in the east, while the suites that continue to the west are related with endings and death due to the sun setting in the west. The suites begin furthest from the west with the blue room, which represents birth. From the blue room, the suites continue through the colors of purple, that represents the intensity of life, green, that represents the spring of youth in life, orange, the represents the summer and autumn of life, white, that represents one’s growing age, violet, that represents life fading away, and black, that represents inevitable death. In the end, the Red Death walked “through the blue chamber to the purple --through the purple to the green --through the green to the orange --through this again to the white --and even thence to the violet,” until the Red Death arrived in the black room. This walk through the colored suites represents one’s course of life that leads from birth to death, like the sun goes from east to west. Therefore, the position of the rooms represent both literally and metaphorically the course from life to death.

If anything should be changed, please tell me! I am so worried about this paragraph.
