im a freshman in college. this guys a senior. we met at a few parties and finally exchanged numbers. i didn't think he was gonna call but he did. we went to a jazz club together... had a few drinks talked. it was fun and chill. the night ended with a hug. two days later he texts me early afternoon and asks what im doing that night and if i wanna do something. i say sure. and i said i wanted to meet his kitten (he lives off campus) so he picks me up from my friends dorm and we go back to his house. i meet his house mates and he shows me some of the book hes writing. then we hung out with his friends for a bit and then went to his other friends house with all his house mates. we partied. some of the time he talked just to me but it was mostly all hanging out together or me talking to his friends while he was elsewhere... he and his friend drove me back to my dorm. the night didn't even include a hug. but he texted me ten min later saying we have to hang out and we texted for a bit and then he said "so i've been having a good time with you and want to take it from there..." everyone tells me that he wants to hook up with me. and i guess im ok with that. but im not sure what this guys story is. he keeps wanting to hang out and makes a concerned effort to do so but when we are together its kinda like were just friends. WHAT DOES HE WANT? its just all too confusing. I like him, hes pretty cool, but were like friends at this point. what the hell is his story??
