I've seen this a few times and i'm curious about it. I'll try to be real specific.
1.In the movie Spider-Man(first movie), Peter gets into a fight a with a bully. When the Guy throws his punch, Peter grabs his hand before it hits him and he turns the guy's arm upward. When he did that, the bully begins to shriek in pain.
2.In Resident Evil 5, the same thing happened except when Jill grabbed Chris's arm, he didn't try to punch her and it still caused pain when she also bended his arm upward too.
So is this real or was it just for Movie and Game purposes? And IF it is real, how does it cause pain just by bending someone's arm upward after trying to punch?
