Does this BOTHER you?

The only calls I get from my dealer are after I've ordered something or if I bring my bike in for some sort of warranty maintenance. The former is telling me that my parts/tools are there, the latter is asking me what I thought of the service.

The Do not call listing does not apply if you have ever done bussiness with that particular dealership.

Thats one of the problems with DO NOT CALL, if you buy something, they CAN call you

Same here!
2 years ago, a metric dealer called me in October, 4 months after I ordered the part I needed (ignition switch). I told them that I didn't need it anymore cause I sure didn't wait 4 months to fix my bike. And the guy on the phone didn't even apologize for calling me this late. Unreal!

get the emails that I suscribed to which I like keeps me up to date on events and sales. But like someone else said I can't get mine to call me when my parts come in. I wouldn't mind a call a few times a year to say hi, we have this sale, etc.... but wouldn't like it all the time.

dnitram, I see you're in Atlanta; I'm in Roswell. I get a call about once a quarter from Stone Mtn. HD about an event. More of a nuisance than anything else.

If you want them not to call, just tell them, send an email, etc.

Why did you give ALL these people your cellphone!!???..There is something called e-mail wich will help you as a good filter...
I guess its just one of those days that we wake up in a bad mood and we HAVE to complain about something!..heheheh,,dont worry there will be sometnhing else to complain about tomorrow!!

most stores that sell large ticket items-cars, furniture, hot-tubs, electronics, etc.-have follow-up sales promotions and the sales people are required to contact you. it is done by many businesses...just trying to generate sales. get caller i.d., don't answer phone, use a no-call list, tell dealer not to call. it is not a big deal.

That's funny - my dealer here in Cleveland is the same way!

To the OP if the calls bother you, tell them to stop...I wouldn't mind the first call but it would get old fast, I'm sure.
