Does the Verizon Palm Pixi Plus require Internet?

I like the style of the phone, but I don't want to pay additional charges for Internet Browsing. I don't need the Internet at all.. For example, I know that if you get a Blackberry, you have to pay monthly charges because of the Internet. I'm not asking if there is a way to get Internet for free.


For the Palm Pixi, do you have to include Internet?
