Does the U.S. president always swear on Lincoln's Bible, or was that just an Obama

it was just obama that bible hadnt been used since lincolns and had not even been touched since then
 
that was just obama's thing because lincoln is like his idol.

some presidents swear on their own bible some swear on another historical president's bible.
 
They don't have to swear on any Bible. They can swear on a Qu'ran, if they want to.
 
He didnt swear on the bible itwas never shown, It was in that red box. It could have been anything. No I think every president since Lincoln has.

No, Obama was the first to use that bible since Lincoln. They often use a family bible.

It isn't required to use a bible at all.
In fact, Theodore Roosevelt didn't use a bible the first time he took the oath.
