Does the Sony Official PS3 Bluetooth Headset only work with the PS3?

I have the Sony Official PS3 Bluetooth Headset which was released last year with SOCOM: Confrontation, and my laptop has bluetooth. Will the headset connect to my (non-sony) laptop via bluetooth.

yes it is a bluetooth headset so it will connect to anything bluetooth compatible
