Does the San Francisco Botanical Garden have an "off-season"?

I'd love to go there sometime with a few friends, but preferably when there's not a lot of people there. I've never even been to that part of Golden Gate Park though...so are there usually a lot of people at the Garden? Educate me :]
 
The Botanical Garden is my favorite part of GGP.

There is no real off season in that the garden, having plants from all over the world, and SF being a Mediterranean climate with a long growth cycle always has blooms.

The weekend's tend to be busier but the Garden is large and easy to find quiet nooks for oneself.
