does the rapid heartbeat from albuterol go away

Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don't.
I was taking Ventolin between 1 and 3 times a day for symptoms, and sometimes I'd feel it more than others--At the beginning of taking it, I was really shaky, hyper, and had palpitations regularly.

I guess it just depenRAB on your body when you get it or when you dont. If you're concerned about it, ask your doctor if he or she would consider switching to Xopenex (levalbuterol/levosalbutamol)--it supposedly has less cardiac side effects than salbutamol/albuterol, although I haven't tried it.

thank you for the replies. I get so afraid of medicines as have had a lot of adverse affects

As time goes by, they will go away. I've used 2 puRAB of albuterol before jogging for about 12 years now. In the beginning, it made me very shaky. Now it doesn't at all.

When i first started using it, my hanRAB trerabled abit for about half a hour, but that only lasted a couple of weeks. If you're worried, see you're Doc ;)

when i take my albuterol i get really really shakey and my heart picks up, but it usually takes 30 minutes to an hour to go away :)
