Does the quote "less is more" apply to facebook photos?
Most of my friends have over 300 pictures on facebook.. but my philosophy is, "less is more" pick a few good ones and leave the rest personal. I interpret tons of pictures to relate to narcisism ... What are your opinions?

When people obsess about themselves like that... when there is too much to do and too much to see... I shut down. I lose interest. And I end up doing/looking at nothing at all.

Like people who have accounts on a dozen different instant messengers or profiles on a dozen different websites... and they want me to start a profile or account and add them to my lists... I only delete them from the one they are already on.

Retarded, Middle School childishness.

As someone who liked to engage herself in scrap booking, I would see that as a different place to store photographs, not narcisism.

I think it really depends on what they are posting. If it's photography of landscapes, pets, and that sort of thing...it really doesn't apply.

But 300 photos of yourself only proves that:

1. The person is very full of themselves and their image. They think very highly of themselves and are trying to show off.

or

2. The person is comfortable with their image.

The more likely reason is people get obsessed with themselves.

yeah, I have over 300 of myself on there and every month or so I try to go through and untag some, I hate having that many pictures of myself accessible to anyone who looks at my profile. Although granted about a 1/3 of them are probably weird things like cats or something I've been tagged as that aren't actually me.
But I'm with you, I think it's better when you have just enough pictures for people to look through and not get totally bored.
