You'll get no argument from me if you say the public educational system sucks. I've seen first hand lazy and stupid teachers try to convince parents to drug their children for no other reason than their own incompetence and laziness.
With that said though, shouldn't parents start taking more responsibility?
I'm sorry, but some of your kids are just stupid and always will be. Not everyone's child is going to medical or law school or is as smart as you think they are. The world needs ditch diggers, too.
