title says it all: Does the N95 charge when you have it plugged in to a computer via the usb cable?

I have looked through this forum and can't find an answer and the manual doesn't mention it being able to do so...however, I thought this was one of the points of the usb calbe

No it doesn't charge via the USB cable. That is what the charger socket is for.
