I have an old Verizon phone and I am looking into buying a new(er) one off of ebay, and then just switching phones, keeping the same number, etc. I only use my phone for texting, picture messaging, and calling. I can't afford to spend any more money per month on my cell phone bill, which means I can't have a phone that REQUIRES a data plan. I know that most phones nowadays can HAVE a data plan, but they're not required. What's the status on this phone?
Does the Motorola Rival REQUIRE a Data Plan when using it through Verizon?
