Jews believe there are many paths to god. That's why they don't get all arrogant and tell everyone else how to think. That's why they don't ever knock on your door with pamphlets.
Judaism is a name given to the religion much later. In the time of Moses religions were thought of as the same as a nation. That's why the bible never uses the word religion. A nation and a religion were one and the same, pretty much. The bible does say that god is the god of the israelites. In more modern words, the jews.

God did infact choose the nation of Israel to enter into a covenant with them, He specifically declares Himself "their God" but that through them all families in the world would be blessed.
Genesis 18 17 The Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,
18 since Abraham will surely become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed?
"But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, Descendant of Abraham My friend, You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, And called from its remotest parts And said to you, 'You are My servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you." (Isaiah 41:9)

So, you subject God to His religion? He is bound to that. Can't choose, escape or otherwise.

All He did was to chose one person - Abran - them, because He became friends with Him, He promised to his descendant "to make a great nation" and be uncountable like the sands of the sea. He called His friend's descendant, those twelve people (tribes) His people.
Other deities had other people; the Cydonians worshiped Mars, the Pelagians and Egyptians worshiped Isis, Horus, etc...you can too.
It is our choose whom to worship: me and my family have decided to worship the God of Israel, Jesus Christ's Father. He has given His name and we call Him by that.
You can worship satan or can worship no one. it's up to you.
