Does the Jeep Wrangler 2.4l engine have enough power?

I was looking to buy a jeep wrangler and i found a 2004 with a 2.4l engine and i was wondering if anyone has had any trouble with the 2.4l engine not having enough power.
 
For regular driving & towing a jet ski I would say it has enough power. But if your towing anything larger that I would go with the v6 model.
