Does The Htc Evo Have Any Problems?

So im getting the Evo on Tuesday and im wondering does it have any problems when you first get it or after you have it for a while???? I know that the battery life sucks but i hear it's a great phone! Question #2 : Im only 11 years old. Do you think im too young to have the Evo? (I think im mature enough and im almost 12) (And im a girl)
