I'm reading a book on body gestures. There was a part where it mentioned how 3 men were sexually harrased while hitchhiking across Turkey from Istanbul to Ankara, saying how the Western hitchhiking sign (making a fist, thumb up) in these countries is actually an invitation for homosexual encounter.
I wanted to make sure if that was correct, so I tried googling on hitchhiking in Turkey and stuff.. and found out that signalling for sex is actually "rubbing your two pointer fingers together back and forth".
My question is.. which one is the right one? Are they both right? Are they both wrong? If so, what IS the sign for sex in Turkey, if there are any?
