Does the flash player have the ability to use dual cores?

Flash isn't a very heavily multithreaded process but yes, it will utilize dual cores and to an extent, quad cores.

I'm making a flash movie, and im wondering if the flash player will run slower on a comp with only 1 core but the same Hz (I have 2 cores).
Can the flash player use both cores?
How big will the effect be? will it be able to do twice as much in a second?
